Our Mission
Our mission for evangelism is the mission of Jesus [Matthew 28:18-20]. We are focused on training and equipping the Church to fulfill the great commission Jesus gave us at home, in the marketplace, and in our communities.
We are convinced that without the help of the Holy Spirit we can do nothing. He is our Guide, our Teacher, our Comforter who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. As we partner with the Holy Spirit and get equipped with God's Word, we'll learn some principles that will help you overcome the fear of witnessing, develop compassion for the lost, and be able to share the gospel in a Biblical and effective way.
Training Times:
Our evangelism classes are structured using the “Way of the Master Basic Training Course”.
Classes are held at the Upper Room Church through Keystone Bible Institute.

Director of Evangelism
Joseph Paniagua serves as the Director of Evangelism at the Upper Room. Born in the Dominican Republic, Joseph moved to the United States in April of 2008. Soon thereafter he married his wife Marci in June 27th of the same year and they currently reside in Manchester with their three children. As a family, the Paniagua's enjoy travelling to new places, being outside, and just spending time together watching a movie at home. Joseph became a US citizen in December of 2016.
Joseph obtained an Associate's degree in Pastoral Counseling in 2015 and completed four years in Advanced Studies of Christian Ministries and Theology at the Spanish Eastern Bible Institute of the Assemblies of God in 2016. In addition, he completed the Basic Training of The Way of the Master Evangelism Training Course through Keystone Bible Institute and is currently enrolled in the School of Biblical Evangelism.
Joseph obtained his pastoral license through the Missionary Church and currently serves as a church elder at the Upper Room Missionary Church in York. Currently, Joseph has been equipping the saints and igniting their hearts in the area of evangelism since 2016.
